Janice Kwon

Dr. Janice Kwon is a Professor and Gynecologic Oncologist at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.  She completed her fellowship training at the University of Toronto, Masters degree in Public Health at Harvard, and post-doctorate at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She is the Chair of the Gynecology Surgical Tumour Group at BC Cancer, Research and Outcomes Evaluation Committee for the BC Cancer Surgery Network, and the National BRCA Collaborative in Canada.  Her academic interests include economic analyses of testing criteria for hereditary cancer syndromes, cancer prevention strategies, and survivorship.  She currently holds a Health Professional Investigator Award from Michael Smith Health Research BC.
